With Number portability set to kick in August onwards I am sure that some Operators would not be able to sleep as comfortably as before .

By a logical surmise, it would mean that all operators start focusing on customer delight with immediate effect.

Consequently we shall see that all operators try to have most competitive tariffs , “no-complaint” networks / coverage , freebies thrown in to loyal subscribers, frequent feedback’s, faster complaint resolution et al .

Perhaps operators will start looking at VAS as significant trump card. Maybe this shall be the onset of a exclusive content, more than ever before. “Exclusivity” is set to be redefined.

Operators would want to port “special” content that is available ONLY on their network.

This might mean that we will have to start getting in content at blazing speeds. Also once we are able to offer the operators ” exclusive” content that we shall not deploy on any other operator , we might be able to negotiate a reasonable Advance Royalty / Minimum Guarantee for all our Products / Content .

This might be end of operators monopoly and arm twisting for revenue share .

We can excite the operators.
